ITM - HORROR - ANALYSIS
What worked?
I think my ideas for transitions worked out well, having a strict shot list really helps with narrative stories. I think I was able to adapt well to the current situation and was able to shoot everything despite quarantine. The weather was good and it was mostly sunny on the days I was shooting. I am quite happy that I was able to write the script, make a storyboard and shoot in two different locations, the whole process was definitely a learning curve for me.

What didn't work?
I didn't have any lighting equipment, meaning that everything was lit by either natural light (I was shooting in the afternoons, when the light is on the side of the room.) However, I wasn't able to shape light or work with shadows / silhouettes as much as I'd want to. Also, I had an idea for a dolly zoom, which I shot on three different occasions, but simply wasn't happy enough with the results to use it. Some of the SFX isn't perfect and the main tracks are simply the best that I could find on epidemic.

What to do different next time?
Creating a narrative story with no dialogue is quite the challenge, I'd like to use recording equipment next time. Working with light would completely change things as well. All in all, I think I've learned a lot of new things over the past couple of months and would definitely love to work on more shorts in the future.
